Healthy Grilled Chicken Salad

April 30, 2009 · 1 Comment

This is no ordinanry grilled chicken salad.  This salad is healthy, low fat and delicious to eat.  The cooking time is a liitle longer than most but the reward is worth it.  First things first fire up your Bar-B-Q pit and get ready.  This is a fun recipe that takes a little preparation so enjoy.   If serving for two this recipe is just right.  Anymore add ingredients.  First take your 2 boneless skinless chicken breast and lay on a plate.  Season them to the max because this is going to give every bite of your salad the kick it deserves.  My recomendation is plenty of fresh pepper, fresh onions and peppers, Lawry’s seasoning salt, garlic powder, parmesean cheese, and whatever you like on your chicken.  Now take a disposable aluminum pan and add all ingredients with chicken in the pan and put on the bar-b-q pit and let cook on medium heat covered for approx 15 minutes.  Then place the chicken first on the grill and put all the ingridients on top of the chciken and close the lid for approx 10 minutes on low heat.   After that turn chicken and ingrdients until chicken is cooked.  Then add your chicken with lettuce, sliced tortilla chips, and your favorite low fat SUGAR free dressing and enjoy.  This is the best salad I have found that is healthy, low fat and truly wonderful to eat.

Low Fat Chicken Roast

April 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Low Fat Chicken Roast is a simple do it yourself type of thing to do. Please use your own ingredients and make your own creation. If I can give you some hints. Add some potatoes and carrots and your favorite vegetables. Also add plenty of chicken broth to get it started. Always put the entire chicken in the crock pot to make sure to get all the flavor. Remember that the spices you add will get drowned with fluid. So saying that dont go crazy with spices but make sure to add enough to get the bang out of your dish.

This low carb chicken recipe is titled Cheesy Chicken.
This chicken recipe is a baked dish with a mix of cheese and spices served with a salad. And like all my recipes we keep the fat down to a minimum.

In a casserole dish take your baked chicken breast and lay them face down in the dish. Mix the following ingredients in and cover with aluminum foil until the chicken is done. Mix in a tablespoon of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic, sugar, salt, paprika, and rosemary. Then pour a cup of extra virgin olive oil. Mix all the ingredients into the meat. After that put the meat in and cover with parmesan and ricotta cheese. Back fully covered and enjoy your creation.

Healthy Chicken with wheat noodles

April 8, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This is a simple recipe that anyone can cook anytime. The ingredients are simple. Go to your local grocery store and purchase a mix bag of your favorite pasta. I choose the ones that have a mix of a cream and tomato mix. They appear to have a pinkish color to them. Then get some fettuccini noodles. WHEAT of course. And grab your usual items that you would make a healthy salad with.

Now here is the fun part. Use the mixing instructions on the bag of the pre made sauce you purchase and add lots of the following. Use your discretion on these one to taste. Mix in lots of pepper, more than you ever think you would like, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, and oregano. Then a pinch of sugar and salt. This will give your sauce unbelievable flavor. Then mix with your wheat noodles and serve with your salad. I cook this weekly and enjoy the heck out of it. So will you.

Heathly Recipes

A recipe that our family has enjoyed for a long time is as follows.  This is a bab-q chicken recipe that is very healthy and low in fat.  The ingredients are simple and in-expensive.  Go to your local store and buy enough chicken whole chickens to feed your bunch.  One chicken will usually feed 4 adults.  Also purchase a package of your favorite rice.  Uncle Bens is one of the most popular.

Bar-b-Q Chicken

Take your whole chicken and put in large pan that you can put on the bab-q pit.  Thaw chciken completely and then put the following ingredients on your chicken.

Saturate chicken in Lawry’s Seasoning salt, Salt, Pepper,  Lots of pepper the better, cruched garlic.  Substitute garlic powder if necassary.  5 pinches of sugar, a small pinch of oregano and rosemary.  After completely saturating ingredients to your hearts content place aluminum foil over chicken and place in the bab-a-que put on medium heat.  DO NOT put bar-b-q sauce on the chicken at this time.  Every 15 minutes or so baste the chicken to keep ingredients flowwing.   After chicken is done place half of the chicken in a seperate fold of aluminum foil.  This is for the persons not liking barbaque sauce.  After the chicken is cut THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART.  Lay the chicken breast down in all the juuices and then saturate in your favorite barbaque sauce.  Now remember to choose a deep colored sauce not a light colored one.  The darker the better.   Leave covered on low heat and serve.

This will be the most tender tastiest chicken you have ever had.

Healthy Low Fat Recipes

For my first recipe I wanted to do something different that all should expierence.  This is my favorite recipe of all time.  Here is a quick dip recipe that you are sure to enjoy.  And one more note.  This is exclusive to this site first and no one else.  So enjoy and love the dip.

First go to your local grocery store and get a jar of tostinos queso cheese dip.  I know I know it is healthy for a dip.  Trust ME.  Then 2 chicken breast, A can of your favorite chili with NO beans.   A package of chives FRESH.  And you are done.

When your are ready chop up a half cup of the chives and pour 1/3 of the can chili into a medium pot and put on medium.  Whil doing that have your two chicken breast cooking.  I like to use Lowry’s seasoning salt on my chicken while its cooking.  After your chili and chives are nice and warm add your grillied chicken into the mix.  I like to pull the chicken thoroughly before putting in chili.  Once that is all done add in the whole container of cheese.  Also ad 4 tablespoons of water at the same time.   Mix together and WAA LAAAA   The best dip in the world.  Enjoy with your favorite chip of choice.  I like the good old corn chips myself.
